Eligibility
A citizen of Australia or New Zealand
- At least 18 years old by June 1st 2010 for winter programme
- At least 18 years old by June 1st 2011 for summer programme
- Able to provide proof that you are;
- A post-secondary student who has completed their first year,
OR
- A recent graduate from a post-secondary college/university in Australia/New Zealand within the last 12 months
OR
- A Vocational student pursuing studies at a tertiary level accredited educational institution or TAFE (minimum Diploma level course of 2 years duration);
- Able to provide 2 written references from people that know you in a professional capacity (This can include teachers, lecturers, coaches, and supervisors)
- Enrolled in our medical policy, for which you will need to provide forms signed by your physician
- Able to leave for the US no later than November 15th 2010 for the winter programme
- Able to leave for the US no later than June 20th for the summer programme and be available to work a minimum of 9 weeks.
- Able to provide proof of sufficient financial resources (Approx. US$1,200) prior to departure in order to support you during your search for employment or between breaks in employment
- Able to attend an in-person interview with Camp America Work Adventures
- Able to provide the name, address, telephone number and email address of someone back home that we may contact in the event that contact with you can not be established at any point
